Mexico Club has fifteen XP titles, from Gringo at 0 XP to El México at 50,000. Until today each one was a small, flat icon. Now every title has its own live emblem, drawn and animated in the game: a frame and an aura that grow grander the higher the rank. A Gringo's emblem is modest; El México's is the most elaborate in the club.
Where you see it
- next to your name at your seat, so the other players at the table see your rank;
- on your profile, and in the waiting room before a game;
- on the leaderboards, next to every player;
- on the title ladder, where the titles you have not reached yet stay grey;
- in the dialog that opens when you reach a new title.
They are the same emblems as on the home page of this site, where you can see all fifteen side by side, with what each title stands for.
How you earn title XP
Title XP comes from public and mini games. Finishing first earns 20 XP and second 5 XP, while third costs 10 XP. Every bid you fulfil adds 3 XP, a made Mexico 10 XP, and daily missions add more. Your title never goes down: a third place can take XP away, but never below the threshold of a title you have already reached. Private rooms and tournaments do not change XP.
Easy on your battery
All the emblems on a screen are drawn together, emblems you have scrolled past are skipped, and with animations switched off in your profile settings each emblem becomes a still picture. On a device that cannot draw them you see the classic icon.
The whole ladder, with the XP each title needs, is in the leaderboard guide. Play a game and watch your emblem grow.
