The first thing other players see when they tap your name.
Your player card shows your name, ID, rank and title. Now you can put any Mexico Club background behind it — the desert campfire, the open sea, the northern lights — or a picture of your own. Every player who opens your card sees it.

Who sees your background
Mexico Club has two kinds of background, and they are seen by different people. Both come from the same shop catalog.
Card background
Sits behind your name, ID and rank on your player card. Everyone who opens your card sees it, the moment you change it.

The two are bought separately, at the same price. If you love the desert campfire, you can have it around your table, on your card, or both.
How to set your card background
Everything happens on the home page of the lobby, where your own card is at the top.

Open the lobby
Sign in at game.mexico-club.com. The home page shows your card with your name, ID and rank.

Tap the pencil
The round pencil in the top right corner of your card opens the picker: Change card background.

Pick a background
Tap any tile. The preview at the top shows your card with it, in the shape of your screen. A lock and a price mean you don't own it for the card yet.

Use it or buy it
Tap Use, or Buy for … pesos and confirm. The next player who opens your card sees the new background.
Changed your mind? Open the picker again and choose Classic or another background you own — switching is always free.

Put your own picture on the card
In the picker, the Your own picture tile lets you upload a photo, a drawing or your favourite GIF.
- JPG, PNG or GIF, up to 8 MB
- Drag to move it, pinch or use the slider to zoom
- The frame is a 2:1 strip; the dashed lines mark the part a phone shows
- Animated GIFs keep moving; transparent parts turn black
- Each upload costs 100, and you confirm the price before paying
- Your last picture is kept: switch to a background and back for free
Everyone who opens your card sees the picture, so the same rules apply as for your profile picture in the terms.
Made for the card, on desktop and phone
The live backgrounds are not just cut out of the room: each one is framed for the card. On a computer the scene sits beside your name; on a phone, where the rank goes under the name, it moves up and to the right. The seas follow the time of day of whoever is looking. These are real frames from the game.

The static and animated backgrounds (club felt, starry night, casino lights and the rest) fill the card the same way they fill the room. You can see them all in the shop.
What a card background costs
The same price as in the shop, bought once for the card. Pesos are earned at the table — here is how.

Card background questions
Does a background I bought for my room also go on my card?
No. The room background and the card background are bought separately, at the same price. Club felt, Night club and the classic card are free on both.
Who sees my card background?
Every player who opens your card: at the table, in the waiting room, on the leaderboards, in tournaments and in the list of past games. You see it on the home page of the lobby. Your room background stays yours alone.
How do I go back to the classic card?
Tap the pencil on your card and choose Classic. It is free, and everything you bought stays yours.
What happens when I upload a new picture?
Every upload costs 100 pesos and replaces your previous picture. Switching between your picture and the backgrounds you own is free.
Which pictures can I use?
JPG, PNG or GIF up to 8 MB. Animated GIFs keep moving and transparent parts turn black. Everyone who opens your card sees the picture, so the same rules apply as for your profile picture: nothing offensive and nothing you have no right to share.
Can a guest change the card background?
No. A guest who joined through an invite link plays without an account. Card backgrounds, like pesos and statistics, need a free account.
Where do the pesos come from?
You earn them at the table: finished games, daily missions, streaks, badges, weekly rewards and tournaments. Pesos cannot be bought.
