Today's update brings two new decks to the shop, both drawn live at the table like the Live poker deck, and a new kind of gift: one you throw.
The Ice deck
The Ice deck keeps the classic poker pictures, but under a layer of frost: you read every card through the ice, with a slight refraction and a sparkle here and there. It also reacts to the game:
- It melts under your mouse. Point at a card in your hand and the frost melts away completely, with water running down the card. Move on and it freezes again.
- Trumps freeze over. Once trump is picked, frost crystals grow in from the edges of the trump cards under a cold mist.
- A trump trick shatters. A trick taken with a trump freezes, cracks and breaks into shards in a burst of snow.
The Vampire deck
The Vampire deck is drawn from scratch, figure by figure. Count Dracula is the ace, the old vampire with an iron crown is the king, the Bride is the queen, and the vampire hunter, with his hat, garlic and stake, is the jack. Every suit has its own night: hearts a blood moon, diamonds a rose window, clubs a graveyard in green mist and spades a castle under the moon. The deck has its own back too, a winged, bleeding heart.
- Candlelight and mist drift over the cards in your hand.
- Eyes that glow. Point at a figure and its eyes glow red; the hunter's spectacles flash instead.
- Trumps bleed from the top edge once trump is picked.
- A trump trick turns into bats. It crumbles and flies off as a flock of bats.
Gifts you can throw
The gift menu has a new Throw tab. Choose a player and something to throw, and it flies from your seat onto their table:
- Tomato, 5 pesos: splats on the table and slowly drips down.
- Bomb, 10 pesos: the fuse sparks for a moment, then it explodes, shakes the table and blows the cards in hand off and back.
- Slipper, 5 pesos: smacks down, bounces and slides off.
- Water balloon, 5 pesos: bursts and leaves a wet patch that slowly dries.
- Firecracker, 5 pesos: shoots up in a sparkling trail and bursts into colored sparks over the table.
A throw is not unlocked once like a deck or a table: you pay each time you throw. With the throws, paid table gifts now cost from 5 to 50 pesos.
How to get them
Ice and Vampire cost 500 pesos each in the shop, under Cards. As with every deck, you can try them in the preview before you decide, and once you unlock a deck it stays yours. Pesos are earned at the table — by finishing public and mini games, with daily missions, your daily streak, badges, the weekly leaderboard and tournaments — and they are never sold.
All six decks and the five throws are side by side in the shop guide.
