There is a new item in the lobby menu: the Shop. It is where you change how your table, your room and your cards look, and you pay with the pesos you win by playing.
Three categories
Tables. Your table sits at your seat on the board, so the other players see it too. Classic and Walnut are free; Gold and Marble cost 300 pesos, Navy and Burgundy 500. Royal, Fiesta and Neon are animated (750 pesos), and Aurora, Embers and Crystal are live tables drawn in real time (3000 pesos): a metal rail with a travelling glint, gems in the corners and a felt that moves — northern lights, glowing cracks, or light rippling as if under water.
Backgrounds. The room around the table, in the lobby and during the game. Only you see it. Club felt and Night club are free; Parlor and Salon cost 200, Ocean and Midnight 400. Casino lights, Floating suits and Starry night are animated (600). Sea waves and Open sea are live seas (2000) that follow your local time of day — sunrise, day, sunset and a moonlit night — with sunrise and sunset moving through the seasons. A day later, on 11 October, they were joined by Northern lights (2000): a night sky with curtains of aurora mirrored in a lake.
Cards. The Classic French deck and the Triestine deck are free, and the Hungarian deck — hearts, bells, acorns and leaves — costs 250.
Try before you unlock
Every item has a preview at a real Mexico table, frozen in the middle of a trick, with the item on top of your own table, background and deck. You can step through the items there, and buy or equip one straight from the preview bar. Nothing is unlocked until you confirm, and an item you unlock stays yours: you can switch between everything you own at any time.
Where pesos come from
Pesos are never sold — every one is earned at the table. A public game pays 15 pesos for first place, 8 for second and 3 for third, and a mini game half of that. Three daily missions pay 10 to 40 pesos each, a daily streak pays 10 to 100 pesos a day, and every badge pays 10.
If you prefer still pictures, switch off animated tables and backgrounds in your profile settings; the game also follows your device's reduce-motion setting.
Every item, with prices and pictures, is in the shop guide, and all the ways to earn pesos are under How to earn pesos.
